Character Development is one of Wario's microgames in the Touch Training stage in WarioWare: Touched! It returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Orbulon's microgames. Its name derives from the term character development, which is used to describe fictional characters developing personality changes as a story progresses; however, the name is also a pun on the microgame's use of letters. It is one of the few microgames that use 3D models.

Gameplay[edit]

The objective of the game is to tap on the flying letters to spell the word on the top screen before the time runs out. If the player chooses the wrong letter in Touched, they do not lose the microgame, but they have to start the word all over. This game has twice the normal amount of time to complete (8 seconds), as it requires quickly tapping some fast-moving objects. The possible letters that may appear are letters A-J, M-O, R-U and Y.

  • 1st level difficulty: The word uses two different letters and only necessary letters fly by.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The word uses three different letters and only necessary letters fly by.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The word uses three different letters and some unnecessary letters fly by along with the necessary letters.
