Getcha Groove On is one of Orbulon's microgames found in the IQ folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and returns as one of Jimmy T's microgames in WarioWare Gold.

Gameplay[edit]

WarioWare: Mega Microgame$![edit]

The object is to remember the order of the directions from the instructor, then repeat them on the +Control Pad to make the dog perform the dance correctly. The instructor gives a thumbs-up when the dance is completed correctly. If the player inputs an incorrect move, the instructor becomes shocked.

  • Level 1: The instructor has two commands.
  • Level 2: The instructor has three commands.
  • Level 3: The instructor has four commands.

WarioWare Gold[edit]

In WarioWare Gold, both the instructor and the player (named the King of Jam) are cats. The instructor dances to indicate the directions while the King of Jam watches them, and the instructions are voiced in addition to their visual and textual depictions. There is one more command in the dance in each level of the microgame. The dance animations are more elaborate. If the dance is successful, both the instructor and the King of Jam celebrate. If the player inputs incorrectly, the instructor gets angry and the King of Jam panics.
