Thar He Blows is one of Kat & Ana's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! and one of Mike's microgames in WarioWare Gold. The microgame's name comes from "thar she blows," a traditional cry used by whalers when spotting a surfacing whale.
Gameplay[edit]
The game's purpose is to blow up a balloon by inflating it. To do so, the player has to wait until the power meter is full and press the button. If the balloon pops, the player wins. If time runs out and the balloon is still not popped, they lose.
In WarioWare Gold, the balloon must be popped by blowing into the mic with no need for any buttons, the backdrop was changed to green, an audience is in the background, and the player is now the giant head from the Windbag microgame.
- 1st level difficulty: The balloon is red, half full of air, and requires a minimum of one blow to pop.
- 2nd level difficulty: The balloon is blue, a quarter of the way full of air, and requires a minimum of two blows to pop.
- 3rd level difficulty: The balloon is yellow, almost empty, and requires a minimum of two blows to pop.
