Hover for Cover is one of Dribble & Spitz's microgames found in the Sci-Fi folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and returns as one of their microgames in the Fantasy set within the Mash League in WarioWare Gold.
GameplayEdit
There is a rocket ship at the bottom of the screen, with various asteroids flying horizontally from both directions. The player must hold the button to control the thrust of the rocket and avoid the asteroids. If the button is released, the rocket will fall back to the bottom of the screen.
- Level 1: The rocket is very small.
- Level 2: The rocket is twice its original size.
- Level 3: The rocket is three times its original size.
In WarioWare Gold, the ordinary rocket is replaced by a little girl in a bamboo rocket. This is based on the Japanese story The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, whose protagonist, princess Kaguya (as a baby), is found inside a bamboo stalk.
