Go Fer the Tater is one of Kat's microgames found in the Nature folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and its picture book of the same name in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!
Gameplay[edit]
The objective of the game is to help the gopher dig towards the red potato, while avoiding the rocks. The player has to use the to dig through the dirt. If the gopher reaches the red potato successfully, animal sounds are heard, and the player wins the microgame. However, the microgame is lost if the gopher collides with a rock, and a red cross appears over both.
- Level 1: There are 8 rocks to avoid. The potato is found close.
- Level 2: There are 14 rocks to avoid. The potato is found less close.
- Level 3: There are 20 rocks to avoid. The potato is found far away.

- Japanese: 「いしにぶつからないようきをつけてめざすはイモ!」 (Romanization: "Ishi ni butsukaranai yō kiwotsukete mezasu wa imo!"; translation: "Be careful not to hit the rocks, aim for the sweet potato!!")
- Chinese: 「帮助这些地鼠挖到土豆, 但别挖石头哟!」 (Romanization: "Bāngzhù zhèxiē dì shǔ wā dào tǔdòu, dàn bié wā shítou yō!"; translation: "Help the gopher dig up potatoes, but don't dig up rocks!")
- French: "Aide le rongeur à trouver la patate, mais évite les rochers!" ("Help the rodent find the potato, but avoid the rocks!")
- German: "Hilf dem Tier, die Kartoffel zu bekommen: Aber pass auf die Steine auf!" ("Help the animal get the potato: but watch out for the stones!")

Naming[edit]
"Go Fer the Tater" comes from the term "gofer", a person who runs errands, the word "gopher", and the phrase "go for the gold".
