Hoppin' Mad is one of Kat's microgames found in the Nature folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and the picture book of the same name in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$! It is based on the fairy tale, "The Frog Prince".
Gameplay[edit]
The objective of the game is to help the frog swim towards the ball in order to return back to a prince. The frog can be able to shift left and right, as well as swim, which allows the frog to traverse through the water. The player has to be careful not to hit any rocks, and walls, or the frog will bounce off of them. Upon touching the ball, sparkles close around it that allow it to transform, and the player wins the microgame.
- Level 1: There are no rocks.
- Level 2: There is only one rock.
- Level 3: There are two rocks.

- Japanese:「ほうこうをあわせてボールをキャッチ! いしやかべにぶつかるとはねカエル・・」(Romanization: "Hōkō wo awasete boru wo kyatchi! Ishi ya kabe ni butsukaru to·wa ne kaeru..."; translation: "Align your direction and catch the ball! When you hit obstacles, such as stones or walls, the frog will bounce back...")
- Chinese:「集中注意力, 抓住那些球! 如果你遇到障碍, 你就会反弹回来。」(Romanization: "Jízhōng zhùyì lì, zhuā zhù nàxiē qiú! Rúguǒ nǐ yù dào zhàng'ài, nǐ jiù huì fǎntán huílái."; translation: "Focus and catch those balls! If you hit an obstacle, you'll bounce back.")
- French: "Essaie d'attraper la balle! Si tu cognes les rochers ou les murs, tu rebondiras!" ("Attempt to catch the ball! If you whack against the rocks or the walls... you'll bounce!")
- German: "Pass auf und fang den Ball! Wenn du Wände oder Steine berührst, prallst du zurück!" ("Watch out and catch the ball! If you touch walls or stones, you'll bounce back!")
- Italian: "Cerca di prendere la palla! Se colpisci le pietre o i muri rimbalzerai!" ("Try to catch the ball! If you hit the stones or the walls, you'll bounce off!")
- Spanish: "¡Ten cuidado e intenta coger la bola! ¡Si te das contra las piedras o las paredes..., rebotarás!" ("Look out and try to pick the ball! If you get hit against the rocks or the walls... you'll bounce!")
Naming[edit]
The name is a play on the idiom "hopping mad", which describes someone who is extremely angry.
