Heat Wave is a microgame found in WarioWare: Touched! (where it is known as Hot Flash) in the Super Zero stage and returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Young Cricket & Master Mantis's microgames. The concept is similar to that of Wario is HOT from WarioWare: D.I.Y.

The original name, Hot Flash, is derived from the medical condition wherein a person experiences a sudden feeling of warmth in the upper part of their body.

Gameplay[edit]

The objective is to take the clothes off of Wario (in WarioWare: Touched!) or a sumo wrestler named Part-Time Sumo (in WarioWare Gold) until only Wario's boxers or Part-Time Sumo's mawashi remain (which can be taken off as well, leaving them with a fig leaf as cover). In Touched!, on a few occasions, Wario may be wearing a spandex suit. Part-Time Sumo's wig may be taken off in Gold.
