Frozen Wario (not to be confused with Snowman Wario), known as Ice Skatin' Wario in Wario Land 3, is one of Wario's many transformations in the Wario Land series of games. When in contact with the breath of a Yukimaru, Brrr Bear, or Yukiotoko, Wario immediately becomes frozen solid and sent skimming backwards, until he hits a wall. Although a usual inconvenience, he can slide through spikes and other nasty obstacles. In Wario Land 4, the transformation is mainly of little use to the player and it is used more as a form of annoyance, or to waste time when the Frog Switch is hit. They are mainly seen in the levels 40 Below Fridge and Fiery Cavern.

Trivia

  • The official Japanese archive for Wario Land 3 lists Frozen Wario as a new ability, when it previously was previously seen in Wario Land II. It does in Wario Land 3, where this form gained an actual artwork.
