Kotsuheri are obstacles that Wario encounters in Wario Land II. They are small spiked objects with an imprinted skull emblem and a propeller that allows them to hover in the air. Judging by their skull-symbol, they are affiliated with Captain Syrup's Black Sugar Gang, a band of thieves that act as Wario's rivals throughout different games.

Kotsuheri are mostly encountered in areas with narrow platforms and many pits, or in level segments in which Wario needs the help of an owl. Some of them float slowly from one point to another, while others circle in the air with much faster speed. They are invulnerable to any attack and will make Wario lose coins and his footage upon contact. They will also scare Wario's owl away if he has one while taking damage.
