The Remote Control Limited Lift[1], also called elevator,[2][3][4] lift,[5] and Remote-Controlled Lift,[6] is a type of platform first appearing in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is a girder-like Limited Lift that begins to rise once a player character is on top of it.

The first player to touch a Remote Control Limited Lift can tilt it left and right with the Wii Remote. Depending on the character the player is playing as, and whoever got on it first, it will have a different design. If the player character falls or jumps off, the Remote Control Limited Lift stops moving and starts slowly descending. The Remote Control Limited Lift appears in World 7-Tower in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

The Remote Control Limited Lift appears in Red-Hot Elevator Ride in New Super Mario Bros. U and Current Event in New Super Luigi U. In New Super Mario Bros. U, the Remote Control Limited Lift moves vertically. If the player leaves the limited lift, it will turn gray and move upwards or downwards depending on Mario's elevation. Additionally, if an enemy gets on the Limited Lift, it will not move anymore and the player will be unable to tilt it. In New Super Luigi U, it moves horizontally, and if the player leaves it, it will stop moving.
