"Champion of Destruction"[1] is a recurring musical theme in Super Paper Mario, where it serves as Count Bleck's leitmotif, and plays in many cutscenes involving him, specifically, in the cutscene following the Chaos Heart's explosion in the prologue, during Count Bleck's appearance in Chapter 6, and the cutscene following Count Bleck's defeat.

Super Paper Mario[edit]

Super Paper Mario marks the first appearance of "Champion of Destruction". The game also features six additional arrangements of the theme.

A similar arrangement named "The Evil Count Bleck" plays when Count Bleck appears in the opening cutscene and the cutscene before his boss battle. An additional arrangement nearly identical to said theme plays when Count Bleck reappears in Castle Bleck.

A frantic arrangement titled "Birth of the Chaos Heart" plays over the Chaos Heart's appearance in the prologue.

A calmer arrangement titled "Count Bleck's Plan" plays during the interlude cutscenes involving Count Bleck and his minions in Castle Bleck.

An arrangement titled "Closing Battle" plays while fighting Count Bleck.

The themes "Castle Bleck" and "Bounding Through Time", which play while traversing Castle Bleck and during Count Bleck and Tippi's marriage respectively, both quote "Champion of Destruction"
