He is shown smacking [[Donkey Kong]] with the blunderbuss and shooting cannonballs at him while he is tied up. He then attempts to strike the Kongs rescuing DK firing more projectiles at them, but each time, his blunderbuss is jammed with cannonballs. K. Rool is defeated, but takes his blunderbuss with him during his fall from [[Crocodile Isle]] and plundering into the water.

Additionally, the blunderbuss aids him in movement, thrusting him forward at high speeds by aiming it in the opposite direction and using the jet propulsion with the barrel acting as the exhaust. The blunderbuss is a weapon utilized by Kaptain K. Rool during the events of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. It resembles a real-life blunderbuss but with a large, horn-shaped barrel at the end.
