Mario Kart WorldEdit
In Mario Kart World, a metal arrangement of "Choco Mountain" plays when racing in Choco Mountain. When approaching Choco Mountain from a route before reaching the course's finish line, a prelude arrangement of the theme plays, featuring a guitar riff that resembles the beginning of the theme that plays on the opening cutscene from Mario Kart Wii. The intro cutscene for the Lightning Cup is mostly an arrangement of the prelude version of "Choco Mountain".

NotesEdit
- "Choco Mountain" is one of two race course themes in Mario Kart 64 to not be included in the Mario Kart 64: Greatest Hits Soundtrack album, the other being "Banshee Boardwalk."
- Discounting arrangements of race course themes made for battle courses (such as the themes for Tilt-a-Kart and Sweet Sweet Kingdom) and themes that play in race courses with battle variants (such as Moo Moo Meadows and Toad's Turnpike in Mario Kart 8), "Choco Mountain" is one of two race course themes in the entire Mario Kart series to also play in a battle course, the other being the theme that plays in Bowser's Castle from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, as it also plays in the Luigi's Mansion battle course.
- In Mario Kart DS, despite Block Fort returning as a retro battle course, it does not use the game's arrangement of "Choco Mountain" for its background music like the original theme did in Mario Kart 64, instead using the same battle mode theme as all of the other battle courses.
