Ice Skate Goombas[citation needed] are variants of Goombas wearing Ice Skates that appear in Super Mario 3D World, only appearing in the levels Snowball Park and Ty-Foo Flurries. If the player character gets close to one, they start skating toward them. Coming into contact with an Ice Skate Goomba will damage the character, though the Ice Skate Goomba can be defeated like any other Goomba. Some of them will drop their Ice Skate if defeated.
