The Mega Muth is a sub-species of a Muth in Super Paper Mario. They reside in Castle Bleck and will attempt to attack any intruder. These burly animals have 200 HP and are worth a large amount of points. Sometimes, these enemies give players a head start and prepare to charge at the player. They are very strong, even stronger than Super Dimentio. While they both have 200 HP, Mega Muths have higher attack power (8 instead of 6), though Super Dimentio's body has greater defense. Stronger versions called Dark Muths are found in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. Despite their larger strength, their Catch Card is more common than that of normal Muths. Due to their large amount of HP, it can be beneficial to repeatedly use Action Commands to gain points quickly.
