Diamond City is a city in the WarioWare series. Wario claims that it is "his city" that he has made into a "sparkling gem of a metropolis." Here, Wario and his friends develop microgames for WarioWare, Inc., and most of them reside here.
Location
It is not clearly known where Diamond City is located. The WarioWare series suggests that the city is located on a planet called Earth (mostly from various statements made by Orbulon). A map of a planet vaguely resembling the real world Earth can be seen in Wario's House in WarioWare: Twisted!, with a more accurate depiction appearing in his house in WarioWare: Touched!, WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Game & Wario. However, a completely different Earth-like planet is seen in the opening cutscene of WarioWare Gold and in WarioWare: Get It Together! neither resembling the real world Earth nor the Earth seen in Super Mario Odyssey. In the opening cutscene of WarioWare: Get It Together!, structures from Santa Monica and Century City in California are used.[1][2] Additionally, descriptions for Orbulon's microgames mention Asia and Japan, while he visits completely fictional locations during the cutscene for his Culture microgames. However, the Diamond City race course in Mario Kart Arcade GP features symbols such as E. Gadd's logo and a Magic Paintbrush, suggesting that Diamond City is located on the same Earth as the lands from the main series Mario games.
In WarioWare: Twisted!, it can be seen that Diamond City is located on an island.
