“Why did you wake me from the sweet peace of slumber?! I will punish you...with death!”
Wracktail, Super Paper Mario

Wracktail is a white robotic dragon that appears in the Wii video game Super Paper Mario. He claims to be the "wrathful god". To defeat him, the same tactics must be utilized as those used to defeat his younger sibling, Fracktail. The player must wait for the boss to dive low along the ground, then jump on his back and use Thoreau to grab the Wrackles and throw them and Wracktail's antenna. The player can also the Super Jump with Luigi and land on top of his antenna. The antenna must be hit 30 times.

He appears as an entirely white version of Fracktail, and resides at the bottom of the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. Once the player defeats this boss, Dashell, a Pixl, is obtained, and a Pipe appears, leading Mario and company back to the entrance of the Pit.

Like Fracktail, Wracktail is referred to as an "it" by Tippi and a "he" in the Catch Card. She also believes that Wracktail is a "Prototype" of an improved Fracktail. Indeed, Wracktail is 10 times stronger than Fracktail, even as a mere prototype.

Wracktail claims that the Tribe of Ancients locked him away in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials, though it is unspecified why.

Trivia

  • Wracktail is Bonetail's Super Paper Mario equivalent, as Fracktail is to Hooktail.
  • Wracktail is actually 10 times stronger than Fracktail, though the Catch Card claims that it's 100 times.
  • In spite of his unusually high attack power, his high HP, and that he is at the bottom of the Pit of 100 Trials, Wracktail may be easier than Fracktail if the player fights him with Luigi, as a Super Jump to the antenna will allow Luigi to continuously jump onto his antenna until he does a loop, and landing on top of his head is easier if the player uses Peach's parasol.
