Gertrude is an eldery, seventy eight-years-old resident of the city of Flopside in the Wii game, Super Paper Mario. According to her tattle by Tippi (or Tiptron), she has been married to Harold for sixty years. At the end of the game, she states that she receives a ring from her husband as a gift for their 60th wedding anniversary (and, as stated by her, the ring is the first gift that she had ever received from Harold). She thinks marriages are harder than some think.
