List

I have a question concerning the abilities in the Mario Baseball series. Would it be better to merge them all into a single list? I believe it would be more sensible than having multiple small articles. They aren't stubs because they can't be expanded, but they are still rather small. It would also improve navigation, and would require little work. Besides merging and deleting the category all that would need to be done is changing the links. They could be divided into fielding and close plays. I'd make a proposal myself, but I'm not sure if anons can make proposals. Thank you for your time. 209.170.68.29 15:12, 8 August 2013 (EDT)

Further clarification may be required on what I meant by "dividing them into close plays and feilding". All of the abilities are either used in close plays or when fielding. They would still be on one list, however. I'd also like to note they all have the same basic purpose and mechanics. Only small differences exist, but these only make one or two sentences. Most of the description is simply what happens (e.g. King Boo teleports behind the baseman, Dry Bones breaks apart and reforms on base.) Hi, just a friendly tip, huge edits shouldn't be marked as minor edits; "minor edit" hints that you only fixed typos or formatting etc, so you should only mark your edits as such when you think other editors will not mind about them on their watchlist. Read more at Wikipedia.

I've noticed that you've been adding trophy sections to SSB articles, but you're rather lacking in images. However, a compilation of all of the trophies, ripped straight from the game, is right here, here, here, here, and here. There are no names accompanying them, but they should be in alphabetic order. Trophy

For that to be included in the latest information seems unnecessary for a few reasons. One, because it's included in the description of her list of appearances in the same way whether or not she's playable is mentioned. We don't included whether or not she's playable in the latest appearance part of the infobox so why would we include 'as a Trophy' when that's eve less relevant to the former specific? The Latest Appearance part also only includes the date because it's a section in regards to the timing of something. UhHuhAlrightDaisy (talk) 18:59, 5 December 2014 (EST)

Just because it has been done before doesn't mean it should keep getting done, right? You didn't actually acknowledge all the points I brought up about why it seems unnecessary. And you misdescribed it by saying it was based on Daisy including her hair and crown. The crown part is included in the floral details, and there was nothing based on Daisy about the hair other than the color which is covered in describing it as it actually is. The way you put all the information is what made it gaudy, though. Especially with the fact she has multiple trophies in the newest game, putting them all together is not appropriate, There's enough information to keep the information under its appropriate, separate installment, even without the mention of the color swaps. There could be more info than there is now, too, and there will be when I look up how the trophies and stickers are obtained in games past Melee. The point of putting it all in one series section if there is not enough info, not if you have to cut-down on info that should be there. UhHuhAlrightDaisy (talk) 19:33, 5 December 2014 (EST)

It doesn't describe the trophies more than stating what each of them is, though. If it described them it would go into a bunch of detail of what all is stated in each one and what's happening in each one. Like I said, the costume being mentioned three times wasn't needed, and I in fact just did away with it in a very appropriate manner. And it doesn't make sense to me that you're trying to say you were making it more concise and also describing the recolor in such details as mentioning the crown, the dress, and the hair, all separately, instead of just stating, again plainly, what it is, Daisy's palette, with the Melle version having the floral details. And again, nothing goes into detail on the trophies in that manner, so that's a problem that doesn't even exist. The only information mentioned about the trophies is what the trophy is, not what pose she's in, what she's doing, or a bunch of what the trophy states. The only info even like that are two goof-points in the trophy descriptions that are there because of the wiki's policy on not putting informaiton in the trivia section if it can go in the article. Daisy's dress design back than seemingly was a part of the floral design, and the crown definitely was, so I don't know what you mean by the crown was different. Hey, I've got a question about merging - if both previous articles had Talk Pages (or only the old one did), do the Talk Pages have to be associated with the new article, or are they just left alone (or deleted)? Also, a related question: if a proposal reaches "NO QUORUM" and I decide to try again with the same proposal, do previous votes and comments count, or are they considered entirely separate? Thanks. I've noticed you blocked this IP with "Spamming pages repeatedly: Reverting your own spam won't earn you any favors.". There are a bunch of IPs who act exactly like this, just look at the Sandbox's history page. I'm pretty sure those IPs are just maliciously scripted (on purpose) bots, since they all have the same-ish edit summaries, borrowed syntax from somewhere else (the whole "revert consecutive edits"), broken English, and borrowed log protection edit summaries. Also, people vandals don't spam and revert their edits like that, if they want to vandalize, they want to make sure their edits are seen. Ray Trace^(T|C) 23:21, 14 October 2015 (EDT)

I think long-term range blocks can effectively deal with those types of users (Phoenix has imposed range-blocks on those users in the past), since they're kinda flooding various page histories with worthless crap.
