Hammer Drop is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars.

Overview

Players run atop a stone column as a Hammer Bro throws coins, coin bags (worth five coins), and hammers at them while riding a cloud. Players try to collect as many coins as possible before time runs out. If a player falls off the tower, they are eliminated but still keep their coins, though this is not the case for Mario Party Superstars.

With Hammer Drop being a coin-collecting minigame, players do not perform their losing animations at the end unless they have not obtained any coins. The minigame ends with a "Miss!" only if every player falls off the tower.

Hammer Drop can be bought from the Mini-Game House for 450 coins in Mario Party when it becomes available.
