Sneak 'n' Snore (also formatted as Sneak 'N' Snore) is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 2 and Mario Party Superstars.

Overview

Sneak 'n' Snore in Mario Party Superstars

Players wear barrels bearing their character's symbol (like Mario's hat for Mario) as they try to sneak past a sleeping Chain Chomp and escape. In Mario Party Superstars, the barrels are red, blue, green, and yellow (for Players 1 to 4, respectively) and each have a star symbol. A player can fulfill the objective by going to one end, pressing a button to open a door, and then exit. If a player tries to hide in their barrel, they first slow gradually before stopping. However, when the Chain Chomp awakes, it eliminates any player not hiding by picking them up and dropping them into a Warp Pipe. The first player to exit wins, though if the Chain Chomp grabs all the players or time runs out, it is a draw.

In Mario Party 2, the player that reaches the exit door breaks out of the barrel and celebrates then and there. In Mario Party Superstars, they will exit the room, then break out of the barrel and run away happily. Additionally, multiple players can escape. The second and third escapees will get 2nd and 3rd in the minigame respectively. If the last player has not yet been eliminated by this point, they will visibly sadden.

It costs 150 Coins to buy from Woody in Mario Party 2.
