Rock, Paper, Mario (spelled Rock, Paper, MARIO on the Mini-Game Stadium roulette) is a Duel minigame playable in Mini-Game Land and Bowser Land in Mario Party 2. The minigame's mechanics is based on rock, paper, scissors, but it uses Mario, Peach, and Bowser instead.

Overview[edit]

Each player has 30 seconds to choose either Mario, Peach, or Bowser before revealing their choice. Mario wins over Bowser, Peach wins over Mario, and Bowser wins over Peach. If both players choose the same character, the minigame ends as a tie and restarts.[1] The player that selects the choice that defeats the other player's wins.

Controls[edit]

  • A Button – Mario
  • B Button – Peach
  • Z Button – Bowser

In-game text[edit]

Mario beats Bowser. Peach beats Mario. Bowser beats Peach. Just like in rock, paper, scissors, the strongest one wins! The A Button Button is Mario, the B Button Button, Peach, and the Z Button Button, Bowser.

Naming[edit]

As with its gameplay, the minigame's name is based on rock, paper, scissors.
