Template:Level The Gap of Crag is a rocky location from Super Paper Mario. The gap is the setting of Chapter 5-2. It is known for its many ruins dotting the area, and also contains a stone Yoshi statue, one of the few times the species is referenced in the game (the other being dolls, a photo and a Catch Card of the Baby Yoshi from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door).

Chapter 5-2: Pixls, Tablets, and Crag

After Mario and his party followed the Floro Sapien kidnappers out of the Downtown of Crag, they found themselves at a dead end; the Floro Sapiens created a giant yellow block, sealing the entrance to the Floro Caverns. To make matters worse, they even encountered O'Chunks again.

However, by paying attention to the many Cragvision sets dotting the mountain, Mario learned clues as to how to remove the block. By running in circles around a rock shaped like a Yoshi (only viewable in 3-D mode), diving to the bottom of a river, and lighting a fireplace, Mario was able to find the Hammer Pixl, Cudge. Cudge was able to destroy the giant block, and, together with his new friends, entered the Floro Caverns.
