However, by paying attention to the many Cragvision sets dotting the mountain, Mario learned clues as to how to remove the block. By running in circles around a rock shaped like a Yoshi (only viewable in 3-D mode), diving to the bottom of a river, and lighting a fireplace, Mario was able to find the Hammer Pixl, Cudge. Cudge was able to destroy the giant block, and, together with his new friends, entered the Floro Caverns.
In order to join the Hammer Pixl, Cudge, who is able to break the block, Mario and his allies must find the three Elemental Tablets, viewing clues on the Cragvisions scattered through the area:

*Stone Tablet: Running in circles around the Yoshi statue, only visible with Mario's flip ability.
*Fire Tablet: Inside a bonfire-shaped stone, that Bowser must burn using his Fire Breath.
*Water Tablet: Found on the bottom of a pond in the first area of the level.

As the team insert the Tablets on the respective pillars, Cudge reveals himself to join them.

 • Fire Tablet: Inside a bonfire-shaped stone, that Bowser must burn using his Fire Breath.
