Dark Fawful Guy
Template:Species-infobox Dark Fawful Guys are a variant of Shy Guy that appear in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. Dark Fawful Guys are a stronger variant of Fawful Guy, with higher stats in every attribute except HP (being the only 'dark' variant with this distinction).
They appear as dark purple with blue Fawful masks, and are always seen carrying Dark Fawful Bombs. Both only show up during battles in the taken-over Peach's Castle if at least one Naplock or Dark Trashure was present at the beginning; they also appear alongside Dark Mechawfuls in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, but only if Dark Trashures are present as well.
Battle
Bowser cannot fight them directly, and must inhale them in order for Mario and Luigi to fight them inside his body; if left alone for enough turns, the Dark Fawful Guys drop the bomb on Bowser, which deals a great amount of damage. If Bowser inhales the Dark Fawful Guys, the Dark Fawful Bomb falls on the other enemies present and damage them.
Dark Fawful Guys have the same attacks as their normal counterparts, though they are performed quicker and deal more damage. For one attack, a Yoob-like roar is heard before the Dark Fawful Guy is eaten by something offscreen and turned into an egg. A targeting cursor then appears, aiming towards one of the Bros. before the egg is flung at them. The attack is dodged and countered by jumping, and stomping on the egg breaks it open and damages the Dark Fawful Guy. Dark Fawful Guys also perform Woozy Guy-style somersaults towards the Bros., who must counter with the hammer to avoid damage; occasionally, they will release an Glide Guy-like umbrella on their head, which will delay their fall and possibly throw off the hammer swing's timing.
