The Aurora Block is a rainbow-colored block used in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. It has the ability to grow to match the size of the heart of the person who strikes it, and it is celebrated in the Star Realm. The Star Gate tasks Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi to find the Aurora Block, due to Luigi not passing his test of worthiness.
When they find the block, Luigi is unable to hit it, with the block moving out of the way whenever he tries. However, the Star Gate reveals that the task is just a test to measure their brotherly togetherness, and he then allows Luigi to hit the block, where it turns gigantic and comically flattens Luigi.
