The Binding Band in Super Mario Odyssey.
The Binding Band
“Where...ring...go? YOU take ring?!”
Knucklotec, Super Mario Odyssey

The Binding Band is a giant, jeweled ring found in Super Mario Odyssey. It was made by the Tostarenans of the Sand Kingdom and is the kingdom's most cherished artifact.

During the events of the game, the ring is stolen by Bowser and the Broodals as a wedding ring for Princess Peach's forced marriage to the Koopa king. Knucklotec, the guardian deity of the Binding Band, was enraged over the missing ring, causing Tostarena to become covered in ice. After Mario defeats Bowser in the Moon Kingdom, the Binding Band is returned to its rightful place in the Deepest Underground. Mario can then Ground Pound on top of the ring to receive a Power Moon.
