Urban Stingbies are mosquito-like Stingbies found in the Metro Kingdom and Darker Side of Super Mario Odyssey. Unlike the recurring bee-like Stingbies, Urban Stingbies are of a slightly more realistic design. They were intentionally designed to look more like an endemic species of New Donk City, and less like a cartoonish Super Mario enemy.[1]
If Mario gets close to them as Urban Stingby Larvae,[2] they metamorphosize into adult Urban Stingbies.
