First appearance Super Mario Odyssey (2017)

Movable covers[1] are solid objects that appear in the Wooded Kingdom and the Darker Side in Super Mario Odyssey. They can be interacted with while the player captures an Uproot by extending its legs below these platforms. Movable covers can move only upwards.

In the Wooded Kingdom, movable covers can be found inside the maze. These platforms are orange in this kingdom. In the Darker Side, Mario encounters these platforms after the section with a Lava Bubble. In this kingdom, movable covers have a metal top with a Bowser symbol on them.
