The Cap Throw is a new move introduced in Super Mario Odyssey, which involves Mario throwing Cappy at a target by pressing Y or shaking the joy-con. Mario can throw Cappy to perform several actions, including hit and Capture enemies and objects, break blocks, collect coins, hitting switches and jump on it to jump higher and longer.
