A Parabeanie in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (2003)
Latest appearance Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions (2017)
Variant of Beanie
Paragoomba

Parabeanies are enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. They are flying Beanies and the Beanbean Kingdom's equivalent of the Paragoomba, and can be found in several areas of Beanbean Fields, particularly on the southern end. They may also appear alongside Troopeas in battle.

Battle[edit]

Parabeanies attack Mario and Luigi by flying into them, or else landing to try and tackle them. The former can be countered with the hammer, and the latter can be dodged or countered by jumping. If they take enough damage without being defeated, Parabeanies will lose their wings and fall, turning into regular Beanies. Parabeanies are weak against fire-based attacks; in the remake, they also take critical damage from jump attacks.

Parabeanies also appear as enemies in the remake's Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser mode. They are flying troopers, and their Special Skill is Cranium Crush.
