"Los Angeles Laps"[1] is a musical theme composed for Mario Kart Tour, where it plays in Los Angeles Laps.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

Mario Kart Tour marks the first appearance of "Los Angeles Laps", where it was added as part of the 2020 Los Angeles Tour.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass, an arrangement of "Los Angeles Laps" plays in Tour Los Angeles Laps. This arrangement replaces the lead orchestra hit samples by an alto saxophone, and the vocals are absent. Additional percussion is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place. An arrangement of "Los Angeles Laps" is incorporated into the staff credits theme for the Booster Course Pass, titled "Staff Credits (Booster Course Pass)" on the Nintendo Music app.

Mario Kart World[edit]

In Mario Kart World, a calm arrangement of "Los Angeles Laps" can play in Free Roam, titled "Los Angeles Laps" in the game's pause menu. This arrangement adds back the orchestra hit and vocal samples that were removed in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version.
