World Mushroom (called Mushroom World on Miiverse) is the second special world and the tenth world in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It sits adjacent to World Flower and consists of remixes of previous courses; they are harder versions which may be set at a different time of day, be a speed run course or have additional objectives. It is unlocked after clearing Cosmic Cannon Cluster in World Star. This world contains seven regular courses and one Mystery House. It is the first world not to contain any stamps within its levels.

World Mushroom-2 Spiky Mount Beanpole Spiky Mount Beanpole from Super Mario 3D World. A harder version of Mount Beanpole set at sunset. The player must find five Key Coins in order to unlock the Warp Box to the goal pole.
World Mushroom-3 Deep-Black Jungle Drift Deep-Black Jungle Drift from Super Mario 3D World. A harder version of Deep Jungle Drift that takes place in the dead of night. Because the level is so dark, the players are able to use Light Boxes which emit light rays in their color.
World Mushroom-4 Trouble in Shadow-Play Alley Trouble in Shadow-Play Alley from Super Mario 3D World A harder and shorter version of Shadow-Play Alley featuring cannonballs and a Goomba Tower. The Player has only 100 seconds to finish the level, and, there are no time clocks in this level.
World Mushroom-5 Back to Hands-On Hall Back to Hands-on Hall.jpg A slightly more difficult version of Hands-On Hall set during the day.
World Mushroom-6 Gigantic Seasick Wreck Gigantic Seasick Wreck from Super Mario 3D World. A more difficult version of Spooky Seasick Wreck with Ty-foos and Mega Mushrooms.
World Mushroom-7 Broken Blue Bully Belt Broken Blue Bully Belt.jpg A harder version of Boiling Blue Bully Belt, which requires 240 Green Stars to play.
