Marimba Block
Colorful note blocks from Super Mario Bros. Wonder
First appearance Super Mario Bros. Wonder (2023)

Marimba Blocks are a colored variant of Note Blocks that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They share a more wooden-like appearance with two beamed eighth notes engraved rather than a quarter note, always appearing with the color pattern: green, blue, yellow, and red. Much like Note Blocks, they bounce the player higher; however, it is only when the player jumps, rather than bouncing instantly upon landing. When walked on, the blocks play a xylophone sound, increasing in pitch the more the player walks.
