Image categories[edit]

Hello, 1468z. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file into a subject category. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:

Images Audio/video files

When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, images related to the game Super Mario World would use:

or one it its subcategories. Media files would use:

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello! When uploading images, please remember to always add a category relating to the game the image is from, such as . Thanks! --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 15:52, 13 July 2018 (EDT)

Edit sniping[edit]

This was uncalled for. If you want to do a project for me, you should let me know first; otherwise that messes up my organization. You included the tweets in the exact same format I did, so there's no way you didn't know. --DeepFriedCabbage 10:55, March 17, 2020 (EDT)

File:MKT Icon Tokyo Blur 2R.png[edit]

I noticed you have been uploading the course icons for new tours lately. I was wondering if you are able to upload a new version of File:MKT Icon Tokyo Blur 2R.png to make it 256 × 85 so its height is consistent with every other course icon in the game. LuigiMaster123's signature icon. LuigiMaster123 13:50, July 15, 2020 (EDT)

The game dump I have has the image with the current size uploaded on the wiki, so I think the icon it's inconsistent normally. 1468z, 14:34, 15 July 2020 (EDT)

Thoughts on Mario Party-e[edit]

Los Angeles Laps and Anti-gravity[edit]

Hi 1468z, thanks for pointing out on the half-pipe thing! I was taking reference from the Japanese BCP site as well when figuring out other two race tracks that have one, but I forgot to take half-pipes into account considering it also have anti-gravity elements on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe too :P Starry Windy 12:42, July 6, 2023 (EDT)

Mario vs. Donkey Kong[edit]

Thank you for changing the enemy names back to their Japanese names. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 17:49, March 4, 2024 (EST)

No problem. 1468z (talk) 18:33, March 4, 2024 (EST)

Battery[edit]

There's a Battery (Nintendo Land) page. That's why I put the Battery (Color Splash) when I added the move template. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 15:55, June 17, 2024 (EDT)

My bad, didn't notice the Nintendo Land page. I guess it's fine to move it to "Battery (Paper Mario: Color Splash)" or "Battery (Paper Mario series)" then. 1468z (talk) 15:59, June 17, 2024 (EDT)

Jamboree[edit]

Chomp Wash is a jamboree minigame name, turn the redirect into a disambiguation. --AJOMarioWiki (talk) 10:43, October 18, 2024 (EDT)

MIPS in Mario Party 3[edit]

Hey thanks for editing out the misinformation on MIPS the rabbit in Mario Party 3. I can tell you watched Silvery's latest upload of him exposing this topic. Again, thank you for making the Wiki better.

Thanks, but the credit goes to User:DryBonesBandit since they edited the misinfo out of the page before me. 1468z (talk) 16:19, January 20, 2025 (EST)

About Nintendo Today[edit]

Apparently, people get different Nintendo Today content on different days. Thus there is no "right" or "wrong", just the earliest date I guess. I would've said that in a revert but if yours is the earliest now then I guess I have to keep it. BMfan08 (talk) 18:29, April 1, 2025 (EDT)

The date is written on the bottom of the article, under the ratings and the copyright date, though right now its been 26/3/2025 for all posts except one. 1468z (talk) 18:32, April 1, 2025 (EDT)
Ah, I see. I didn't know that was a thing. Thank you for clarifying. BMfan08 (talk) 18:48, April 1, 2025 (EDT)

Questions about LEGO Super Mario Goal[edit]

Hi! I think you are the only person on the Internet who played this game and documented it, so I wanted to ask you a couple questions about it, as I played Pongoal: which is the reskinned version of the game without the Mario theming.

Looking at the photos of LEGO Super Mario Goal, Pongoal seems to be the exact same game, but the grass is green instead of yellow, and the controls were very unresponsive.

I wanted to ask you if you recall the game also being unresponsive to ensure that the gameplay of these two versions is the exact same. I would also like to ask you about the game's soundtrack, as I like to record soundtracks from games which soundtracks aren't available online yet. Pongoal's soundtrack is a calming piano theme, which I recorded. Was LEGO Super Mario Goal's soundtrack the same? Sprite of Lakitu from Super Mario Bros.RykituSprite of Lakitu from Super Mario Bros.

Hello. I remember that the controls were also unresponsive at times, though it could have just been because of the use of the remote as the controller. Regarding the music, there was only a single track playing through the entire game, which sounded like a generic copyright-free theme. I actually recorded it at the time: https://voca.ro/1YShleSNdND6 Unfortunately it's very low quality as it isn't a direct capture. 1468z (talk) 14:27, August 30, 2025 (EDT)
The remote was probably the issue for me too. Thanks for recording the music! Even if the quality isn't the best. Sprite of Lakitu from Super Mario Bros.RykituSprite of Lakitu from Super Mario Bros.

Nintendo Today! Fall animation[edit]

Hi. Can you add in the image representing Fall as well as a description of its animation in the daily animations section? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:20, October 2, 2025 (EDT)

I didn’t get any fall animation on October 1, so I can’t add it unfortunately. Are you sure that there was a Mario one? 1468z (talk) 02:58, October 3, 2025 (EDT)
I know the last time they did a seasonal animation, the Summer one, all the game series themes with the exception of Pikmin had it on the same month (July, while Pikmin was a month later in August), and I definitely know Kirby at least got a Fall animation on October 1. I forgot to check Mario, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, and Zelda's pages for any animations, or for that matter Pikmin's that day, so I didn't see if they did or not. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 06:14, October 3, 2025 (EDT)
@Weedle McHairybug I just found a video showing all Autumn animations: https://twitter.com/Bucket_of_Sushi/status/1973436238276468873. As shown in the end, the Mario animation is still the normal 1 animation. 1468z (talk) 18:13, October 3, 2025 (EDT)
