A Spring Ball[1] is an object that commonly appears in the Yoshi franchise. The player can jump on top of it, then jump again to be propelled high into the air with a boosted jump. The player can jump even further up if the player times the jump right when the player contacts the Spring Ball. Some can also be released by Winged Clouds. There are also larger versions of Spring Balls, which give an even stronger and higher jump boost.
