Burlap Hanging Sacks[1], also simply called bags[2], are uncommon objects appearing in several Donkey Kong games. As their name indicates, they are large cloth bags hung with a rope.
History[edit]
Donkey Kong Country Returns / Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D[edit]
In Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Burlap Hanging Sacks display bull's-eyes and contain valuable collectables, such as Puzzle Pieces. They can be destroyed by tossing an object, such as a barrel, at them, yielding the item inside. Exceptionally, a Burlap Hanging Sack found in Stormy Shore triggers the appearance of a treasure chest upon getting destroyed, though the bag itself does not contain anything.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze[edit]
In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Burlap Hanging Sacks display Snowmad insignias instead of bull's-eyes. However, they fulfill the same role as in the previous games. In addition to barrels, they can also be destroyed with certain enemies such as Tuff Tucks.
