Mario, Luigi, and Bowser never get to fight them on their own, but when the Sniffle Thwomp faints at the start, three White Shy Guys come in, pick it up and carry it to Bowser. They reprise their role in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, having their upgraded design from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

A White Shy Guy also appears in the DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. Here, it appears in the Adventure Tours mode in Frostown. If the player fails a mission a certain number of times, the White Shy Guy will offer a completion ticket, which can then be used to skip the mission. This does not work with the final three missions against Bowser and Dr. Eggman, since the first mission immediately starts upon encountering them and the subsequent missions start as soon as the previous ones end.

Template:Species-infobox White Shy Guys are white-colored Shy Guys found in the game Yoshi's Story. They are friends of the Yoshis, and could be considered the antithesis of the Black Shy Guy, as the White Shy Guys work against their Shy Guy brethren, while the Black Shy Guys are the elite in Baby Bowser's Shy Guy forces.
