Lucky Cat Mario,[1][2] also known as Maneki-Neko Mario[3] or Golden Statue Mario,[2] is a derivative form of Cat Mario in Super Mario 3D World and returns in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It resembles the original form, except the character wears a red collar with a Lucky Bell on it. The user transforms into this when a Ground Pound is performed after grabbing a Lucky Bell.

In this form, the user is a golden Maneki-neko statue of their Cat form holding a coin. Luigi's Lucky Cat form is slightly different; he is shown raising his left paw instead of his right, unlike everyone else.
