The Play Nintendo Show is the longest running series on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. The series takes place inside the "Casa de Nintendo" and features various hosts reviewing Nintendo games and ranking things from those games.
Format
Every episode of the show begins with Andrew exiting the Warp Pipe Izzy inhabits. Andrew would introduce himself and the hosts before the hosts rank five or three things from a select Nintendo game. Reggie would then appear and would choose the game for a host to review (always being the game involved in the ranking earlier). The host tosses the script behind them, often into Izzy's mouth. The videos end with a dance party, Andrew reading select comments from the previous episode, and Izzy telling the viewer to like the video and subscribe to the Play Nintendo channel.
Starting with the thirteenth episode, the format was slightly changed. The segments reviewing the games featured in the episode was removed, and so was the segments where Andrew would read comments. These were replaced with Frizzy's Silly amiibo Theater and Ask Izzy respectively. These segments would get their own videos, episode numbers, and titles.
In some of the episodes prior to episode thirteen, a drawing of Izzy will be hanged on the wall, with help from a Hammer Bro.
List of hosts/characters
- Andrew Trego, the host that appears in all the episodes.
- Izzy, a "snappy" Piranha Plant who often serves as the co-host. During the rankings, Izzy would play out a scenario before the following number in the ranking. Izzy often makes the scenario rhyme with the number.
- Reggie Fils-Aimé, the former president of Nintendo of America. He has a higher pitch voice and suggests games for the host of that episode to review.
- Jenna, Andrew's little sister.
- Frizzy, a puppet Andrew created out of a sock and buttons in the fifth episode. They have become a reoccurring character since.
- Terry, a host who specializes in Pokémon games. Reggie often sends him over if Izzy is gone.
- Todd, a character who is only seen in the sixth episode.
- Andrew's grandfather, a character who is seen in the seventh episode when Andrew wonders what he was like when he was his age.
- Worthington, a robot who is first seen in the seventh episode. He does tasks for the hosts, but always apologizes for problems that are not that huge.
- Mr. Puddlepop, a pet goldfish seen in the ninth episode.
- Snowplant, a Piranha Plant made of snow created by Izzy in the twelfth episode.
- Myrtle, Andrew's aunt who runs an internet show titled "Myrtle's Mayhem".

Later, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is reviewed by Andrew and Reggie. At the end of the episode, Andrew reminds Izzy that he can not hide his amiibo from him. When Izzy hides the figures, Andrew shows Izzy a picture he drew in 3rd grade depicting him and Princess Peach with hearts around them, embarrassing him. To make things even, Andrew grabs a hammer from a Hammer Bro and hangs it on the wall.

Kirby: Planet Robobot - Doin' The Robobot | Andrew and Izzy share their top Kirby copy abilities alongside tips & tricks from Kirby: Planet Robobot! | Andrew and Izzy rank the five copy abilities from Kirby: Planet Robobot they want the most in real life. When Andrew reveals the topic, a copy of him is seen sarcastically copying what he is saying. Andrew punches the ? Block again to clarify they are copy abilities from Kirby, causing the copy to disappear. Later, Kirby: Planet Robobot is reviewed by Andrew and Reggie.

At the end of some of the episodes, Andrew Trego would read comments from various YouTube users. Some of the user's profile pictures feature fanart and characters from other media franchises. This segment was removed after the twelfth episode, likely to make way for Ask Izzy.

Notable mistakes and errors
- In the description for the first episode, The "new" in New Super Mario Bros. 2 is missing, resulting in it reading "Super Mario Bros. 2".
- The tenth episode spells Mario Party: Star Rush without the ":" in the title and the text within the video. This error is corrected in the description.
