Sling Shys are Shy Guys who dress exclusively in light green and, as the name implies, use a sling shot as a weapon (which is more powerful than a regular Shy Guy's sling shot). The only real difference between Shy Guys and Sling Shys (aside from power) is that Sling Shys are capable of using musical magic, such as "S'crow Bell" (which can transform a party member into a Scarecrow), "Spore Chimes" (which can transform a party member into a Mushroom), and Doom Reverb (Which can Silence a character).
