The Flashy Hammer is an upgraded and lustrous version of the standard Hammer attack that appears in Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Paper Mario: The Origami King. In both of its appearances, it serves as a direct upgrade to the Hammer and Shiny Hammer attacks, possessing high attack power.

In Paper Mario: Sticker Star, the Flashy Hammer appears as a semi-rare type of sticker. Like other flashy stickers, it sports a rainbow design in its background. They can be obtained in Drybake Desert and are found for sale in the Rumble Volcano shop for the price of 20 coins.
Flashy Hammers are the middle of the line of Hammer stickers, being more powerful than the Hammer and Shiny Hammer, while being weaker than the Big Shiny Hammer and the Megaflash Hammer. Despite this, Big Shiny Hammers become available for sale sooner than Flashy Hammers do.
In the Sticker Museum, the Flashy Hammer is found in the No. 31 spot and has an attack rating of three stars.
Paper Mario: The Origami King
Flashy Hammers reappear in Paper Mario: The Origami King, now being the one of the strongest items in the Hammer line, second only to the Legendary Hammer. It is capable of doing up to 30 damage to enemies, and, like other Hammer attacks, damages them in a 2x2 formation.
It is similar in appearance to its weaker counterpart, the Shiny Hammer, but it is darker-colored and is more sparkly.
