The Propeller Lifts[1] are platforms found exclusively in Inside Wario's Castle in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Only four can be found in the third room, hovering back and forth between some solid platforms placed over the lava. Three of them pass through narrow spaces, forcing Mario to duck under the hindering pillars. The last three Propeller Lifts also move right under some platforms, forcing Mario to leave or land on them when they are in motion, increasing the chances of falling into the lava.

In Super Mario Land 2 - 6-tsu no Kinka 3 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga, Propeller Lifts are used by Fire Wario during the final battle to easily chase Mario and Heavy Zed, and later by Aku no Keshin while he pretends to be Wario during the post-game chapter, threatening to destroy Mario Land with the Bowser Missile, and will stay on it until the missile is redirected against him.
