In order to access the area where the [[Power Star]] is found, the player first needs to grab a [[Green Shell]]. Hidden in a nook to the right of the large waterfall is a [[Treasure Chest]] that the player has to break open using the shell, which will reveal a [[Launch Star]]. The Launch Star will send [[Mario]] to a new planet with many waterfalls. The player has to lure a nearby [[Cataquack]] over to a [[? Coin]] placed up high, and touching the coin will cause an [[Ice Flower]] to appear. Using the power-up, Mario can [[Wall Jump]] up the waterfalls to reach the platforms higher up, using [[Sling Star]]s when necessary. At the top of the waterfalls is a snowy area with another Cataquack. Wall Jumping up Waterfalls, also known as Wall Kicking up Waterfalls in the PAL region, is the sixth mission of the Beach Bowl Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. This mission can be accessed during the second mission and the third mission.

Layout[edit]

In order to access the area where the Power Star is found, the player first needs to grab a Green Shell or the Gold Shell, depending on the mission. Hidden in a nook on the land to the right of the large waterfall is a Treasure Chest that the player has to break open using the shell, which will reveal a Launch Star. The Launch Star will send Mario to a new planet with many waterfalls. The player has to lure a nearby Cataquack over to a ? Coin placed up high, and touching the coin will cause an Ice Flower to appear. Using the power-up, Mario can Wall Jump up the waterfalls to reach the platforms higher up, using Sling Stars when necessary. At the top of the waterfalls is a snowy area with another Cataquack.
