Topmaniac and the Topman Tribe
The player starts on three large saucers, two of which have a Monty on them. Using some Pull Stars, the player is able to reach another saucer with a Sentry Beam on it. Jumping to the next saucer will cause it to start moving through a mine field toward a Launch Star, which will send Mario to a platform with a Spiky Topman and a trapped Luma; sending the Topman into the electric rail will destroy it and free the Luma. The Luma will transform into a Launch Star which will send Mario to a small platform with a few crates and a Monty. Destroying the top crate will reveal a Warp Pipe that will take Mario into a gravity chamber.
In the gravity chamber, the player can spin into arrow switches that will change the direction of gravity. There are also a series of raising, falling, and rotating platforms along with Fire Bars and pits of lava. Some platforms may also push Mario out of the current gravity section and some will also crush him, resulting in an immediate life lost. By avoid the obstacles and changing the flow of gravity when able, the player can reach the end of the chamber, which has a Warp Pipe that leads to a room with a Jump Beamer. Using the Jump Beamer as a spring, the player can reach a Sling Star that will take the player to a room with two Spiky Topmen. Defeating them will open up a door to a Launch Star that will send Mario to the platform where Topmaniac awaits.
To defeat Topmaniac, the player has to first jump on it, then spin into it to send Topmaniac into the electric fence. Topmaniac will attempt to ram into Mario with its sawblades and will call up different types of Topmen as the battle continues. Sending Topmaniac into the fence three times will destroy it and reward the player with the Power Star.
