Kevin Zachary Afghani (born November 9, 1996)^[1]^[2] is an American voice actor based in Los Angeles. He is the current voice actor of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and their baby variants, replacing Charles Martinet. The first Super Mario game featuring his voice was Super Mario Bros. Wonder, in which he voiced Mario and Luigi, something Afghani confirmed beforehand on October 13, 2023.^[4]^[5] He would later voice Wario starting in WarioWare: Move It!,^[6]^[7] Waluigi starting in Super Mario Party Jamboree,^[8] Baby Mario and Baby Luigi starting in Mario Kart World,^[9]^[10] and Baby Wario and Baby Waluigi starting in Mario Tennis Fever.

Prior to his roles in the series, Afghani provided narration for some North American Nintendo Switch commercials.^[11] Additionally, Afghani himself is a fan of the Super Mario franchise since childhood: he owns a statue of Bowser, and as a teenager, he wore a Super Mario–themed costume for his high school prom.^[12] He has expressed deep respect for his predecessor, Charles Martinet.^[3] Outside of the Super Mario franchise, Afghani is known for voicing Arnold in Genshin Impact, Amir in Warframe,^[13] and Forsburn in Rivals of Aether II^[14] and providing additional voices in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.^[15]
