Bean Platforms first appear in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U as platforms that usually appear on giant beanstalks. They are platforms that periodically coil and uncoil. Bean Platforms appear in Skyward Stalk in the former game and in Beanstalk Jungle and Dancing Blocks, Poison Swamp in the latter game.
