The '''Lakitu Block''' is a [[block]] found exclusively in [[World 4 (NSMBWii)#World 4-5|World 4-5]] of ''[[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]]''. It is white and has a smile on its front, making it look similar to [[Lakitu's Cloud]]. When activated, a [[Lakitu]] will appear and start to toss [[coin]]s on the floor, which [[Mario]] and the crew can then collect. However, there are also other Lakitus that throw [[Spiny|Spinies]] present in the level, which the player can easily mistake for the coin-throwing Lakitu. Just like any other Lakitu, however, the players can get injured if they touch the Lakitu throwing the coins. The player can defeat these Lakitus for points and ride their clouds. They can also be eaten by [[Yoshi]]. These Lakitus stay on-screen temporarily, unlike the regular ones, which only go off-screen when Mario reaches a specific area.

A square cloud in World 4-5

A square cloud,[1] also known as a Cloud Block,[2] is an object in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is a white block with a smiling face on its front, making it resemble a Lakitu's Cloud. Square clouds appear exclusively in World 4-5 only. When hit, a square cloud turns into a Lakitu that throws coins. However, the level also features Spiny Egg-throwing Lakitus that players can easily mistake for the coin-throwing Lakitus, as the two types are not visually differentiated. The only difference that Lakitus from square clouds have from other types is that they stay onscreen only temporarily and do not respawn.
