Springs[1] are obstacles in Super Mario Galaxy. These indestructible objects resemble yellowish-brown ovals with a pair of beady eyes and four sprouting springs. Springs appear only in Boo's Boneyard Galaxy, where there are four in total. Springs move from side to side to bounce and delay Boo Mario, thus hindering the passage and giving the Spooky Speedster an advantage during the race.
Appearances[edit]
