Gameplay

There is a person set horizontally on the bottom of the screen, and a watermelon bouncing around. The player must use the +Control Pad to move the person back and forth and prevent the watermelon from falling through the bottom of the screen.

  • 1st level difficulty: The person is tall and has his arms extended over his head, covering around 60% of the gap.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The person is tall and has his arms down, covering around 50% of the gap.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The person is shorter, covering around 40% of the gap.

In WarioWare Gold, Body Block is reclassified as a Sports-themed microgame. As such, the watermelon is replaced with sports balls: a soccer ball in the first level, a basketball in the second level and a volleyball in the third level. The person in each stage now dresses accordingly to match that sport. Additionally, the person in Level 3 is Goalie Blockman.
